FAQs

When should I expect to see benefits?
Within 3 months, you should see significant hair growth in thinning areas. Hormonal benefits, reduced stress, often start within the first 1–3 full daily servings.

For best results, maintain a healthy diet and address nutrient gaps, particularly potassium. Optionally take a potassium supplement and any women's multivitamin. Results may vary depending on individual health and consistent use.
Why do you offer a tonic and not a pill or powder?
Our research shows that a tonic is the only method for extracting the compounds targeting all root causes of alopecia hair loss and hormonal imbalance. Licorice Root also needs to be extracted this way to prevent side effects.

We’ve tested other viable methods, including pills, powders, and serums. Our discovery was that nothing comes close to the effectiveness of traditional hot water preparation. That's because these sensitive compounds have already degraded in the factory from heat, light, oxygen, and moisture, when processing them into pre-prepared forms (pills, powders, serums, gummies, or extracts). It's the exact reason why we use hot water to brew coffee on fresh beans rather than taking a coffee pill.
Why hasn’t anyone been able to discover this before you?
Most scientists missed this discovery due to a lack of nuance when interpreting scientific research. We combined deep study of the science with masterful herbalism, allowing us to discover novel insights, and spot where others went wrong.

For example, it’s often believed that Licorice Root, whilst effective, causes severe side effects in women. However, why this occurs is not only because of the delivery method, but also because of the isolation of compounds from Licorice Root as opposed to taking it as a whole. If you take Glycyrrhizic Acid by itself, you are taking away the other compounds in Licorice Root which create a balancing or regulating effect on blood pressure and cortisol. If you eat liquorice candy with sugar, you are causing an increase in blood pressure that would not happen with taking the root. The whole root, freshly harvested, must be hot water extracted for Licorice Root to have a balancing effect (without side effects), as opposed to a unidirectional blood pressure and cortisol increasing effect.

By clarifying these misunderstandings, and offering reliable, medicinal-grade whole herbs, we made a breakthrough that unlocks Licorice Root & Stinging Nettle’s true potential for hair and hormonal health. For a detailed explanation, visit our blog.
